Doming labels and 3D stickers for businesses

Yes. We can produce 3D stickers / domed badges using screen printing, digital printing or a combination of the two. This means we can match your needs precisely – either as Pantone/spot colors or as CMYK (four-color process). Once the print is finished, we apply a clear polyurethane/epoxy doming coating, which creates the 3D effect, protects the surface and ensures a beautiful, exclusive finish.

Absolutely!

We can produce custom order-specific 3D badges / domed stickers in almost any shape, as long as the design does not have sharp corners. To ensure the doming coating settles neatly, we recommend a minimum 1 mm outer radius and 2 mm inner radius. If you need a smaller run (typically under approx. 5,000 pcs.), we can die-cut/cut the shape digitally by computer, so you avoid the cost of special tooling.

Our design team can help with setup or adjustment of your layout, and of course we can incorporate your logo and branding. Before final production, we can also create a digital sample/prototype, so you can approve the design, colors and 3D effect before we start production.

Our 3D badges / domed stickers with polyurethane (PU) can typically withstand temperatures from approx. -40°C to 150°C. At temperatures above approx. 90°C, we generally recommend polyester rather than PVC, because polyester performs better in hot environments.

Polyurethane becomes more rigid in cold conditions and more flexible in heat. That is why doming is best suited to flat surfaces – on strongly rounded/curved surfaces, the coating’s “memory” can over time work against the adhesive.

Previously, PU coating could wear over time, but that is not a problem today, as we use newer, more durable materials.
